The Wedding
Groom's tuxedo
FI's inspiration was old school Hollywood star Cary Grant, the epitomy of male Hollywood class in my book. His attire shown is also claim to be the apex of black tie formality. It matches any color scheme and is probably the longest living tux of our time.
Groom's accessories
I saw these and got a kick out of them because these pig cufflinks would have made FI laugh.
Colored shoes and matching colored socks
I know that matching colored shoes with colored socks has been done many times before. But whoever came up with the idea that not everything has to be black and white was just brilliant. Pure genius. We got FI's Tiffany blue argyle socks at Target.

Groom's Ao Dai
We got FI's ao dai (dress) and khan dong (headdress) from Vietnam.

Budget Tips
TIP: There are good deals at major tux retailers where you rent either 4 or 5 and get one free. If they do not offer this, make sure you barter.
Planning Tips
TIP: When the GMs come to the store to pick-up, make sure they don't leave before trying them on. It may give enough time to solve last-minute hiccups.
TIP: Ask your florist if the flowers in your FI's boutonniere bruise easily. Your FI will be giving lots of hugs so you will want his boutonniere to stay on and last the night.
