The Lễ Đính Hôn takes place in the home of the daughter. Here are the details.
Entrance
The door to the daughter's home is usually preceded by a flower gate. For the flower gate, I got spring garlands from Michael's that are made of peonies and roses.
The Lễ Đính Hôn banner above the entrance has significance in tradition because it symbolizes hospitality. My cousin graciously got one for us from Saigon. Get this: it looks like it's out of wood, right? It's actually made of styrofoam! It makes hanging light and much easier.
Altar
